This course is for confident dressmakers wishing to explore the first stages of tailoring and making made to measure trousers, the course is not suitable for beginners.

On this weekend course you will learn how to correctly measure for trousers for men and women. How to cut and fit trousers accurately to get a good fit by making a mock up called a toile.

Learn the best sewing methods for a fly zip opening, slant hip pockets, fitted waistband or faced waist to obtain a professional outcome. An over-locker will be available for neatening seams and if time allows you will be shown how to insert a lining into the trousers.
