Beginner’s Dressmaking & Sewing Skills for Complete Novices- Evening class

This introductory level eight session course is aimed at people with no or very little knowledge of sewing methods, who would like to learn how to sew properly to then be able to make clothes for themselves building on the skills learned on this introductory course. Each session at least one technique or sample is made to help develop sewing skill and accuracy. A simple sleeveless top or dress is made on this course.

Follow on courses are available to enable progression to making clothes that fit correctly.

Stage 2/Intermediate Dressmaking.

Advanced sewing skills/Improvers.

Course Fees

The tuition fees including some materials are £139.00, you will be given a requirements list in advance, together with the proposed course outline and you will need to buy some fabric for your samples and the garment you will be making.
