ALL TO BE HELD IN CONGRESBURY

All workshops are £27.00 each, materials are provided, though you will need your sewing machine and usual sewing kit. Please ensure that you bring your instruction manual so that you can follow the manufacturers guidance relating to the accessories needed to successfully complete the sewing processes.

Lapped zips and buttonholes Saturday 28th February 2026 from 10am to 12.30pm HURRY ONLY ONE PLACE AVAILABLE

Learn Learn how to insert a lapped zip and to make machine buttonholes. Zips and buttons and all materials supplied and included in the course fee. You will need your sewing machine, user manual, threads, hand sewing equipment, pins and scissors. Bring a notebook and pen for making your own notes too.  All other materials supplied

Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Saturday 16th May 10am to 12.30 in Congresbury

On this two and a half hour workshop you will learn the main functions of your machine, in particular selecting the correct type of needles, threads and stitches for most garment making processes using woven fabrics.

Sewing with stretch and jersey fabrics Date to be confirmed

You will learn all the main stitches in general use in working in stretch materials. You will need your sewing machine, user manual, threads, hand sewing equipment, pins and scissors. You won’t need to buy any fabrics, just come along with a variety of reels of thread to experiment with as all other materials are provided by us and included in the course fee.

Perfect Pockets Date to be confirmed

Learn how to get a professional finish with in-seam, patch and slant pockets. You will need your sewing machine, user manual, threads, hand sewing equipment, pins and scissors. Bring a notebook and pen for making your own notes too.  All other materials supplied

Tuition fees are payable in advance.

Requirements: A list of everything you need will be emailed to you prior to the workshop.
