Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting for Skirts (Weekend or 2 one day workshops)
On Day 1 using your own body measurements, create a slim line tailored pencil skirt to your exact figure type. You will make a mock up in calico called a toile, and this will be checked for correct fitting to your body type and personal measurements.
On Day 2 learn how to adapt your basic skirt pattern to create your own designs for skirts. We work in scale to learn how to include a range of design features such as, pleats, panels, yokes, gathers, tucks, flared and circular cut skirts.
These workshops are also suitable for A level Dress & Textiles students and undergraduates studying for Fashion degree courses needing more tuition on pattern cutting & design development
